BTCCSquare news:

Crossmint has achieved a regulatory milestone with MiCA authorization from Spain's CNMV, positioning it among the first compliant stablecoin infrastructure providers in the EU. The 18-month approval process underscores stringent AML/CFT requirements under Europe's unified crypto framework.

The license enables passporting services across all 27 member states without country-specific approvals. Crossmint can now offer institutional-grade crypto custody, fiat gateways, and wallet solutions—a capability expected to gain strategic importance as MiCA's July deadline forces unlicensed competitors to exit EU markets.
